Referral Program Details
Learn more about the Google Workspace Referral Program. Below you will find information about the program, terminology, and more.
Here are some things to remember:
Unique Referral Link
Share your unique referral link with anyone in your networks that has a business or is thinking of starting a business, who will benefit from the Google Workspace and its cloud-based collaboration tools.
Promotion Codes
Guarantee your referral a 10% discount in their first year.
Your referral must either enter their promotion code when they sign up or in the Billing section of their Customer Admin Console before their 14-day trial period is over.
Each promotion code is valid for a single use. Reach out to the support team at anytime to request additional codes to share with more referrals. You are eligible to request up to 100 promo codes per calendar year.
* Make sure not to share your promotion codes on public sites or social media pages.
* We encourage you to be selective with whom you share your promotion codes. Public distribution, including posting on discount and coupon websites, is considered misuse and prohibited under the Agreement. Any customers associated with these coupons will be ineligible for referral rewards under the Agreement.
Rewards
You'll receive a reward for every user who signs up using your link and is a paying Google Workspace customer for at least 90 days.
To be eligible for a reward, you must be signed up to the country or region where your referral located.
To guarantee your referral a 10% discount in their first year, your referral must enter their promotion code in the Billing section of their Customer Admin Console when they sign up or before their 14-day trial period is over.
Payment
We will send you a payment form via email to request your bank information when you are eligible for a referral reward.

The Google Workspace Referral Program is currently available in multiple countries.
Definitions
Google Workspace referrer (You)
Share your referral link with your contacts or network and earn rewards for every successful referral.
Referral
A domain or company that you referred using your unique referral link. You can refer an unlimited number of domains.
Google Workspace customer
A referred domain that has started paying for a Google Workspace subscription for more than 90 days.
Google Workspace users
The individual users within each Google Workspace account (ie. associated with the same domain). They are distinguished by their email alias. For example, name1@yourbiz.com is one user, and name2@yourbiz.com is the second user. You can earn rewards for the first 100 users of each referral.

Payment Information
Day
Trial Period
Your referral will use your unique referral link and add your promotion code during sign-up.
Day
Eligible Referral
You will earn rewards on referred customers that have paid for a Google Workspace subscription for more than 90 days. Your referral reward will depend on the amount of paid users, up to 100, that completed the full 90 paid days following the trial period. All sign ups after the trial period will not count towards your referral bonus.
If your referred customer cancels prior to 90 days, you will not earn the referral reward.
For example, if they set-up 100 individual accounts within the domain and cancel 40 of these accounts within the 90 days, you will be paid for 60 seats.
Day
Payment Phase
Once your paying Google Workspace referral is a customer for more than 90 days, you will receive an automated message asking you to provide your bank information.
Payments are usually made on the 3rd week of the month; however, if your submission occurs after that time period, you will get paid the following month.
Depending on your country and bank location, you will need to ensure that your bank allows international wire transfers. If you have any questions about the payment process please reach out to the support team.
An example of a successful referral

You send a referral email to a client or friend (that is not already using Google Workspace)

The company signs up for a Google Workspace trial (signing up through your referral link)

After the 14-day trial period, the company starts paying for Google Workspace Business Standard for 10 users

The company pays for Google Workspace for over 90 days

You’ll receive a direct deposit to your bank account for $150 (USD)*
